How to add Custom Domain to Blogger with GoDaddy

If you really want to rank your blogger website and earn well from it, then you need to Add a Custom Domain name to blogger.

Here are 4 Easy Steps to How to Add Custom Domain to Blogger with Godaddy?

1. Step 1: Add the purchased Domain Name to BlogSpot Blog :
2. Step 1: Setup 'CNAME' Records in GoDaddy :
3. Step 3: Setup 'A' zone Records in GoDaddy :
4. Step 4: Publish your Blogspot blog :

By adding a Custom Domain, you will not only be able to rank your blog but at the same time your blog address will look professional, Which will bring more visitors to your blog.
For this you will need a domain name, which you can buy by visiting Godaddy. Be careful that you choose a domain name according to your blog.

Step 1: Add the purchased Domain Name to BlogSpot Blog :

First, go to your blogger's dashboard, and there you click Settings.
Then you click on the option to set up a third-party URL for your blog address there.

Then put whatever domain you have taken from Godaddy here.

Now you will be asked to add the following 2 CNAMEs to your domain's DNS settings.

Step 2: Setup 'CNAME' Records in GoDaddy :

Now go to your Godaddy account, where you have taken your domain.

You have to go to your domain's DNS settings there.

There you will see DNS Records, you just have to click on the ADD button below there.
After this, you have to add both CNAMEs as shown in the image below, and click on the Save button.

Click on "ADD" >> In "Type" choose "CNAME" >> in "Host" type "www" >> and in "Points to" field type "ghs.google.com" as shown below;

Similarly, you have to fill the second CNAME there as well and click on the Save button.

Step 3: Setup 'A' zone Records in GoDaddy :

Now you have to set the IP address of your blogger. For this, you have to go back to the blog settings where you had added your domain.

Here you will see the option of Setting Instructions, you have to click on it. Then a page will open in front of you, scroll it down a bit, and go to the step 3 option.

Here you will see 4 "A" Records, which you have to add by going to DNS settings of GoDaddy Domain.

Click on "ADD" >> In "Type" choose "A" >> in "Host" type "@" >> and in "Points to" field type "216.239.32.21" As shown below;

Similarly, you add all these "A" Records to your DNS Records and save them.

Step 4: Publish your Blogspot blog :

If you have completed all the steps above, then you go back to the settings of your Blogger Dashboard again, and check once you have done everything correctly or not?
If you have done all the steps correctly, you can save all the settings by clicking on the Save button below.

Go to the your Blogger Dashboard >> Settings >> Basic >> "Publishing" section >> check and SAVE it.

Finally, you need to go to your Blogger settings and choose both HTTPS availability and HTTPS redirects. This is a free SSL certificate from a blogger, which you can use in a lifetime free.

Now your work is done, now you have to wait 10-15 minutes, maybe it may take a little time. If you keep checking your website in a while, then your website will open.
